What happens in the Rick and Morty Season 8 teaser trailer? The new trailer doesn’t give away much for the new season, but does see several characters auditioning to be a new Jerry. In the end of the trailer, Morty and the rest of the family return and tell Rick they’ll be keeping the Jerry they have. Rick and Morty Season 8 will premiere on Adult Swim sometime in 2025. The series’ seventh season premiered last October, and ran for 10 episodes. The series was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, with Roiland being fired from the series in early 2023 following being charged with domestic battery and false imprisonment, and other allegations coming forward shortly after. Roiland was subsequently replaced as the voices of Rick and Morty, with Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden taking over for him, respectively. Other current cast members of Rick and Morty include the voices of Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke, Kari Wahlgren, Echo Kellum, and more.
