The next chapter of his relationship with Ipswich on Sunday evening saw the 53-year-old prematurely leave the Sky Sports set on the pitch, where he was working alongside Kelly Cates, Izzy Christensen and Jamie Redknapp as a pundit. Keane had been receiving final instructions from producers as they prepared to return from an ad-break when he left the presentation area, putting down his microphone. Keane approached the nearest stand and engaged a fan in a stern conversation , as others around him heckled and declared: "Go in the car park and wait until the show's over. The condemnation came as the House of Lords debated regulations paving the way for a scheme which would require animal lovers on the British mainland to have documentation in order to visit Northern Ireland. Critics view the move as further evidence of Northern Ireland still having to follow EU rules post-Brexit and being treated differently from the rest of the UK – a major source of contention to the unionist community. The paperwork, which will be free to apply for, includes a declaration that the owner will not travel onwards to Ireland or another EU country with their pet or assistance dog. Animals will have to be microchipped and have their own individual pet travel document, which will be valid for its lifetime. Northern Ireland residents returning after a stay in Great Britain with their pet or assistance dog will not need a travel document. The scheme is being introduced under the Windsor Framework, a revised deal for Northern Ireland’s post-Brexit trading arrangements aimed at tackling issues caused by the protocol. Raising her concerns in Parliament, Baroness Hoey, a Northern Irish Brexit supporter and former Labour MP, said: “These regulations are in effect about a new aspect of the Irish Sea border that has not had expression until this point because of the grace periods.” She added: “The experience of visiting Northern Ireland with your pet dog or cat, or even a ferret, will be made to feel like a visit to a foreign country. Lady Hoey went on: “This could spell the end of holiday trips for pet owners from GB to NI and then on to the Republic, when they want to explore both Northern Ireland and the Republic. “If they have a pet passport, they will have renounced their right to go to the Republic. COLLEGE PARK – Thanksgiving break arrived a day early for Maryland men’s basketball. Offered the chance to feast on an outmatched opponent, the Terps did not turn down the invitation as they sprinted to a 23-point advantage at halftime and waltzed to a 91-67 thumping of visiting Bucknell on Wednesday evening. Maryland rained down a season-high 12 3-pointers in 31 attempts – a .387 percentage that is the offense’s second-best rate so far. Graduate student small forward Selton Miguel and junior small forward Tafara Gapare set the pace with three 3-pointers each. Gapare, a 6-foot-9, 215-pound Georgia Tech transfer, came off the bench to lead the team with 19 points (12 in the second half) on 7 of 9 shooting, including 3 of 4 behind the 3-point line, and grabbed six rebounds. Freshman center Derik Queen, a Baltimore resident, accumulated 15 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two assists, senior power forward Julian Reese, a Randallstown native and St. Frances graduate, dropped 10 of his 14 points in the first half, and Miguel, a South Florida transfer, scored all 13 of his points in the first 20 minutes and collected two rebounds and two assists to propel the Terps (6-1) to their third consecutive win and good vibes heading into the Thanksgiving holiday.
