The Gulf funds were seen increasingly into net profit booking in the main market, which saw as many as 0.15mn exchange traded funds (sponsored by Masraf Al Rayan and Doha Bank) valued at QR0.71mn change hands across 47 deals. The Islamic index was seen declining slower than the main barometer of the main bourse, whose trade turnover and volumes were on the increase. The Gulf retail investors were increasingly net sellers in the main market, which saw no trading of treasury bills.
