Martín Andrade-Pérez
Martín Andrade-Pérez is a Colombian researcher interested in the tensions between Intangible Cultural Heritage and tourism, looking especially at the many ways in which the communities can create their own tourism experiences without negative impacts on their cultural practices. As a member of the Working Group Research of the ICH NGO Forum, he participated in the creation of the Web dossier on Intangible Cultural Heritage and Tourism. A facilitator of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of ICH, he is a lecturer at the Master in Applied Museums and Heritage Studies at the Reinwardt Academy, part of the Amsterdam University of the Arts, and he is also a UNESCO consultant on intangible cultural heritage and conflict situations.
