Laura Fregona

Laura Fregona is the junior project manager of AGA - Associazione Giochi Antichi – for the general organisation of the UNESCO Tocatì programme activities and the connections with the tourism field. She graduated in Planning and Management of Cultural Tourism at the University of Padua with a thesis on the albergo diffuso as a form of sustainable tourism and then specialised in Intercultural Development of Tourism Systems at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, proposing a thesis concerning the candidacy of the Piave River as a UNESCO cultural landscape.

Always attentive to the issues of territorial development and active participation, she founded the youth section of FAI Belluno - Fondo Ambiente Italiano (the Italian version of the National Trust) and collaborated with the Fondazione Dolomiti UNESCO of Cortina d'Ampezzo (Belluno – Italy) within the project "Dolomiti 2040: which future for the UNESCO Dolomites?" participating in the data collection for the sections tourism, socio-economic development, active conservation and functional networks. The data collected fed into the Comprehensive Management Strategy for the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage.
