Pet Grooming Market Emerging Trend, Industry Demand and Regional Analysis by 2031 12-28-2024 03:10 PM CET | Business, Economy, Finances, Banking & Insurance Press release from: Orion Market Research Pet Grooming Market The global pet grooming market is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of 6.1% during the forecast period. The increasing trend for the pet as a companion increases the possibility of zoonotic diseases (diseases passing from animals & insects to people), which acts as one of the major factors for the growth of the market. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), zoonotic diseases are very common in the US and Europe. It is estimated that over 6 out of 10 infectious diseases in humans are spread from animals in the US. Moreover, over 3 out of every 4 unknown or new infectious diseases in humans are spread from animals. CDC and other healthcare organizations are focused to prevent such a large spread of zoonotic diseases by generating awareness for pet hygiene. Such factors will increase the demand for pet grooming during the forecast period. However, a lack of awareness regarding the grooming products for pets especially for people living in rural areas may hamper the smooth growth of the market during the forecast period. Get Free Sample link @ https://www.omrglobal.com/request-sample/pet-grooming-market Segmental Outlook The global pet grooming market is segmented based on the type and distribution channel. Based on the type, the market is segmented into shampoo & conditioner, comb & brush, clippers & scissors, and others. Among these types, the shampoo segment is anticipated to hold the major share as it has the ability to kill germs, prevent pets from diseases, maintain hygiene, and give fragrance to the pet, among others. The comb & brush are used to remove the dirt, dead hair, and loose hair tangles, which helps spread hair oil evenly and stimulates blood flow for healthy skin. Furthermore, it also helps maintain the moisture of fur and reduces shedding. The hairs of pets usually trap allergens, bacteria, and dirt quickly, however, giving them baths prevents bacteria and dirt from causing infections. Based on the distribution channel, the market is sub-segmented into offline and online. Among these distribution channels, the online segment is expected to grow fastest during the forecast period as the consumers' purchasing preferences rapidly changed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The above-mentioned segments can also be customized as per the requirements. Nebraska coach Matt Rhule returned to college football two years ago after a stint with the Carolina Panthers. Above his desk in his office in Lincoln sat a congratulatory bottle of Dom Perignon, courtesy of his friend Bill Belichick. Rhule looks back at the spring of 2023 as a much simpler time in college sports. He calls the sport "completely different" now, using movie metaphors to sum up the current flux. "It's like 'Boiler Room' meets 'The Wolf of Wall Street,'" Rhule joked with ESPN. "I can't tell you how many coaches are saying, 'What's happening and what are we doing?'" In 2025, the most compelling story in college football will be Bill Belichick's debut season as the head coach at North Carolina. How will he navigate the sport's chaotic moment? Though Belichick has never coached in college football, it's safe to say that under the new structure of the sport, he'll be as prepared as any coach in the country. Editor's Picks 'Dream come true': Belichick at home with UNC 21h Andrea Adelson The Hoodie's a Heel: Can the NFL's greatest coach fix UNC's tarnished legacy? 2d Ryan McGee Sickened by the politics of the NFL, Belichick aims for a college restart 22h Seth Wickersham The very chaos coaches are struggling to manage -- building a salary cap model, handling transfer portal free agency and making hard roster choices -- is exactly what he navigated for decades in the NFL as the head coach and de facto general manager of the Patriots and Browns. And it's precisely why he's bringing in Mike Lombardi -- a former NFL GM with more than a quarter-century experience helping build teams such as New England and Cleveland in various personnel positions -- as UNC's general manager. And that's why coaches around college football believe the chaos of the landscape could end up as Belichick's competitive advantage. He'll be taking decades of practical experience and applying it in a different setting. Belichick is coming to college ball "on the forefront of a whole new era," Rhule notes. And while there have been predictably gloomy takes about Belichick adjusting to the quirks, pains and unique demands of the college game, the case for optimism springs from the simple fact that he enters the sport as the coach perhaps best equipped for the new era. College football in 2025 is simply professional football that's adjacent to a university, awash with nostalgia and backed by a soundtrack from the band and the fight song. The sport has never looked closer to the NFL, with schools expected to be able to directly pay athletes next year, pending a judge's ruling in the spring. Belichick's contract dictates that he'll have access to $13 million of the nearly $20.5 million schools such as UNC can slate for revenue sharing. The signs of where the sport is going became florescent in the opening 24 hours of Belichick's tenure. He has clauses in his contract for a general manager hire at up to $1.5 million, a support staff budget totaling $5.3 million and $1 million for strength and conditioning personnel in addition to his own salary of $10 million. None of that includes the $10 million for assistant coaches. The GM salary is capped at a level almost double the highest one currently known in college football. "That's a big boy investment," an industry source said. "UNC is definitely going all-in on this." With Lombardi onboard, Belichick is setting out to build an NFL-style front office. And be certain, the rest of college football is watching closely. The case for Belichick to thrive at UNC is simple: He and Lombardi have decades of experience running a disciplined and innovative front office. They are experienced at evaluating and assigning value to players, negotiating contracts, making disciplined decisions and maximizing resources. Few college coaches can match that or are in programs structured to do so efficiently, considering few programs have GMs with that background. "Coach Belichick and Mike Lombardi have been a formidable team in several spots over the years," Rutgers coach Greg Schiano told ESPN. "Their intelligence and capacity to work will translate to any level of football." Read any of the books about Belichick or study how he built his dynasty in New England, and roster construction came down to bloodless efficiency. While it certainly helped to have Tom Brady -- and at a discount for many years -- the management of the whole roster was done boldly and devoid of emotion. The system Belichick and Lombardi developed in Cleveland in the 1990s to assign value to players remains used in the NFL by personnel departments, Rhule pointed out. "It's something that they invented, and a lot of us in college are still trying to learn," Rhule said. "The whole thing in college now is how you value your own roster and do you choose to replace them." He predicts Belichick will be "fantastic" at UNC, saying he also understands why the head coach of six Super Bowl-winning teams is making the jump. Much like how NFL franchises scrambled to hire former Belichick assistants and New England front office members over the past two decades, don't be surprised if other colleges watch Belichick and Lombardi's every move. They have a transferrable skill set that has never mattered more in college football. "I think he will try and replicate an NFL standard and process for player procurement and development and scale that at a high level," said ESPN analyst Mike Tannenbaum, the former NFL executive who worked with Belichick on the 33rd team and worked for Belichick in New York and Cleveland. "His experience in making decisions contextually, that skill set is now of the utmost importance in the new paradigm of college football." How quickly have things changed in college football? Former Ohio State and Florida coach Urban Meyer chuckles at how "labor-intensive" recruiting used to be. College coaches would have to hang out all day in high schools, cozy up to guidance counselors and sweet-talk grandmas. Meyer said a college basketball coach told him recently: "You'd love this recruiting. I don't recruit. No more notecards. No more texting 70 times a day or talking to the kid's girlfriend or uncle. It's a whole different animal." Though there's still plenty of charm and boots-on-the-ground work required, the reality of high-end college recruiting in 2025 is that the contract offer trumps stadium size, weight room glitz and the doggedness of the pursuit. High school recruiting is essentially the draft. The portal is free agency. Also paramount: Many of the agents working with the top college football players are the same ones Belichick dealt with for years in the NFL. Their confidence in his ability to train, develop and teach players should not be underestimated. Belichick always seemed to find joy in unearthing the hidden gems, a list that starts with sixth-round draft choice Brady. It also notably includes Cal State Bakersfield national champion wrestler Stephen Neal, Penn State lacrosse star Chris Hogan, USC backup quarterback Matt Cassel, Ohio State specialist Nate Ebner and converted Kent State quarterback Julian Edelman. "You are looking at other people's rosters and finding ancillary players and finding something that they can add to your team," a veteran NFL front office member said. "That's what Bill Belichick is the best in the world at." Winning in 2025 and beyond is likely to require maximizing revenue-share money and outside NIL opportunities to create a high-end roster. Around college football, some programs are already trying to bring in NFL people -- be it as consultants or staff -- to install similar systems to those Belichick and Lombardi invented in Cleveland. Stanford recognized this changing landscape by putting Andrew Luck in charge of the entire football program. That's where the sport is going -- player procurement eventually trumping the coach as the central focus of the program. It's just hard to convince coaches of that right now, as athletic directors would prefer this model, but most head coaches won't willingly give up power. Belichick already laid out his recruiting pitch on "The Pat McAfee Show" last week, and it's a powerful one: He called the program "a pipeline to the NFL for the players that had the ability to play in the NFL." The potential for immediate success will be known fairly soon, as it will be directly related to the caliber of player Belichick can attract in the transfer portal. It will be fascinating to see how he balances high school recruiting, which does not always translate to immediate success, with picking the right portal guys who fit under a salary cap. He also has a 2025 schedule against no program that finished in the top 15 of the College Football Playoff rankings, and just two that ended up ranked at all -- a home game against Clemson and a road matchup at Syracuse. With a strong roster refresh, UNC could be favored in 10 or 11 games next season. The things Belichick does well in scheme, situational football and managing games will surely translate. "He's got a great plan, knows exactly what he wants to convey," Missouri coach Eliah Drinkwitz said. "Every player wants to ultimately play in the NFL. Everyone wanted to play for Nick Saban because they felt like it was going to help them go to the NFL. That'd be a similar blueprint to what Coach Belichick is going to do." There will be challenges and adjustments for Belichick. How he'll handle the college clutter will be an integral part of this -- academic meetings, compliance department bureaucracy and the vagaries of an unregulated system of free agency, for example. One coach summed up the challenges facing Belichick this way: "I just think the day-to-day interactions with players is more than the NFL, meaning you are doing more life skills development and academics. You are involved in those conversations on a daily basis with players, parents and tutors and academics." Just how intensive recruiting will be is an interesting aspect of this transition. But remember: Belichick has never been afraid to work. NFL draft lore is filled with him showing up at places like Middle Tennessee State to run potential priority free agents through a workout. There is a lot of nonsense in college football -- small talk with boosters, bowl reps and other characters. But Belichick has always found a way to eliminate nonsense to stay focused on his job of winning games. "It's stuff outside the game," a college coach said, "that's what's wearing on coaches right now -- stuff outside of football." Belichick is 72 and the terms of his deal hint that this won't be a lengthy engagement, as his $10 million annual salary is guaranteed for only three seasons. After June 1, he'd owe UNC just $1 million to leave. That doesn't dim the interest, as the one of the most innovative coaches in NFL history is arriving in college at a moment rife with wholesale changes. Look for Belichick to set the trends, not follow them.LOS ANGELES — The late start of the Rams’ Sunday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles will give the team a chance to do some scoreboard watching. Or even watch a couple of early games. Not all of the players and coaches will take advantage. Sean McVay will before he heads to SoFi Stadium. Puka Nacua doesn’t want to exert his emotional energy on someone else’s game. But no matter closely they are paying attention to it, every result across the NFC West is of significance to the Rams this weekend, and for the six weeks that come after this. At 5-5, the Rams are in a three-way tie with the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks for second in the NFC West. The Arizona Cardinals sit in first at 6-4. As things stand, this is looking like a one-playoff team division. So some Rams will at the very least keep an eye on how the game between the Seahawks and Cardinals goes, or how the 49ers do on the road against the Packers without quarterback Brock Purdy. But not all. “I’m solely focused on what we have to do this week,” quarterback Matthew Stafford said. “None of that stuff matters if we don’t take care of our own business. I know that’s our mindset here. Just do everything that we can to give ourselves the best chance to win week in and week out and figure it out from there.” And given the competition this weekend against an Eagles (8-2) team that beat the Rams a year ago and has since added a preeminent defensive mind to its fold, you can understand the emphasis on the task at hand. After last season, the Eagles underwent a transition. Head coach Nick Sirianni remained, but he replaced both his coordinators. Kellen Moore has helped reenergize the offense, along with the addition of running back Saquon Barkley . And Vic Fangio has the Eagles’ defense performing among the best in the NFL. Fangio is a familiar figure from McVay’s and the Rams’ past. He was the defensive coordinator for the Bears in 2018 when Chicago stunned the high-flying Rams by holding them to two field goals in a 15-6 loss. Then-QB Jared Goff threw four interceptions in that game, the Rams were limited to 52 rushing yards and went 4 for 15 on third and fourth downs. The Rams had been held below 29 points just once prior to that point in the season, and that was still a 23-point performance in a win. And they had not failed to surpass 300 yards of offense in the 12 prior games, but found themselves with just 214 yards that day at Soldier Field. It was a performance that would not be replicated again until the New England Patriots used it as a model in their Super Bowl LIII win over the Rams later that season. Now Fangio is back on the opposite sideline from McVay, again with a formidable challenge for the Rams. “The biggest thing that I would say that makes Vic a great coach is he’s going to adjust, adapt, and figure out what is going to be best given the circumstances,” McVay said. “There’s still a foundational philosophy. There’s a way of making people play in an understanding of how to try to limit what people are trying to get done and the illusion of what it really looks like and that is on display.” The Rams’ offense rediscovered its identity for parts of last week’s win over the Patriots . Stafford’s connection with Nacua and Cooper Kupp powered things, while the offensive line kept him upright and running back Kyren Williams moving forward. But for the Rams to take advantage of the clustered NFC West, they need to prove they can consistently put together games like that. And doing so against this Eagles team under this spotlight would go a long way toward propelling the team toward a playoff spot. “You work all training camp and all in the beginning of the season to get to points like this. You’re still in your divisional race and you’re playing a primetime opponent on a big stage,” Stafford said. “It’ll be a big challenge for us at home. We’ll see if we can go out there and give them a good shot.” When: 5:20 p.m. Sunday Where: SoFi Stadium TV/Radio: NBC/710 AM; 93.1 FM; 1330 AM (Spanish); Sirius 225, 226These Oil Stocks Are Delivering High-Octane Dividend GrowthThe secret US soldiers who trained for WWIII by free-falling with a NUKE between their legs

One person died in Ecuador and ports closed across Peru as massive waves up to four meters (13 feet) high pummeled the region, officials said Saturday. Many beaches along the central and northern stretches of the Peruvian coastline were closed to prevent risk to human life, local authorities said. Waves there submerged jetties and public squares, sending residents fleeing to higher ground, according to images on local media. In neighboring Ecuador, the National Secretariat for Risk Management said a body was recovered in the coastal city of Manta. "The Manta Fire Department reported that, at 6:00 am, the body of a missing person was found lifeless in the Barbasquillo sector," the agency announced on social media. Peru closed 91 of its 121 ports until January 1, the National Emergency Operations Center said on its X social media account. The municipality of Callao, close to the capital Lima and the location of the country's main port, closed several beaches and barred tourist and fishing boats from venturing out. "These waves are being generated thousands of kilometers away from Peru, off the coast of the United States," navy Captain Enrique Varea told Channel N television. "They are waves generated by a persistent wind on the surface of the ocean that is approaching our coasts," he said. Dozens of small fishing boats and businesses near the sea were affected, according to images broadcast on television and social networks. axl/rmb/nro/acb

New Jersey resident Kristen Cobo captures video of approximately 8 suspected drones over a farm near her home on Dec. 12. (Kristen Cobo) Drone experts have little idea what the dozens of drone sightings over New Jersey could be, but have ruled out the possibility that they might be the work of a classified government program. They say the lack of a clear image or any residual hardware makes it difficult to make any guesses. "Until something is found, it’s really difficult to say," said Brett Velicovich, Fox News contributor and CEO of Expert Drones. "We haven’t seen any clear images." The drone sightings were first reported nearly a month ago – on Nov. 18 – and have been spotted every night from about dusk until around 11 p.m. The drones are "six feet in diameter," fly in a coordinated way with their lights off and "appear to avoid detection by traditional methods," according to New Jersey state Rep. Dawn Fantasia, who relayed a briefing given by law enforcement. Reports have ranged from four to 180 sightings per night, throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. With little information on their origin from law enforcement, public speculation has run wild. Velicovich poured cold water on the idea that the drones could be part of a classified government test – one theory circulated to explain the lack of information shared with the public. A social media user said she filmed several drones hovering over Fairfield, Connecticut on Thursday night. (Lucy Biggers) "I find it hard to believe," said Velicovich. "Maybe it started that way, and now people think everything they see is a drone . . . . I’ve seen a lot of images that look like planes. But he said that when he worked on classified drone projects, the protocol was always to inform local police. MORE THAN 20 DAYS INTO PHENOMENON, PENTAGON STILL HAS NO ANSWERS ABOUT ORIGINS OF MYSTERIOUS NJ DRONES "There's a reason why we test stuff in Area 51 or all these remote locations, so that you don't have to cause public hysteria. And then when we would test stuff in cities, we would always, whenever we do secret exercises in cities, we would always inform the local police." Stacie Pettyjohn, drone expert with the Center for New American Security, agreed. "They would be doing it on a military base or a testing facility. And you know, they're not overflying sort of sensitive industrial locations, like they have been in New Jersey." Both experts agreed that what could have started off as drones may now have developed into a public panic, where everything in the air is assumed to be a drone. They said it could also be photographic drones looking to pick up images of the drone phenomenon, adding to the panic. Photos taken in the Bay Shore section of Toms River - Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024 (Doug Hood/Asbury Park Press) "People are gonna start to see what they expect to see," said Pettyjohn. "No one has shown me a clear photograph of a drone," said Velicovich. "Either it's just overblown right now, and everything in the air is a drone, or, you've got a lot of planes in the area that are probably trying to pick up, take photographs and detect stuff and see what's really going on." The FBI, in a statement, suggested that many of the drone sightings had turned out to be planes. "We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or public safety threat or have a foreign nexus," a joint FBI and Department of Homeland Security statement said Thursday. "We are supporting local law enforcement in New Jersey with numerous detection methods but have not corroborated any of the reported visual sightings with electronic detection. To the contrary, upon review of available imagery, it appears that many of the reported sightings are actually manned aircraft, operating lawfully. There are no reported or confirmed drone sightings in any restricted airspace." Photos taken in the Bay Shore section of Toms River of what appear to be large drones hovering in the area at high altitudes in New Jersey on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024. (Doug Hood/Asbury Park Press) NEW JERSEY DRONE SIGHTINGS: MILITARY ANALYSTS BREAK DOWN NATIONAL SECURITY CONCERNS, DOUBT HOBBYISTS AT PLAY The FBI revealed this week its budget for counter-drone technology is a mere $500,000 per year. Earlier this week, Rep. Jeff Van Drew, R-N.J., said that the drones may be linked to an Iranian "mothership," a theory that prompted the Pentagon to say that it had seen no evidence the drones could have come from a U.S. adversary. Velicovich said he "isn’t sold" that the drones are foreign in origin, but U.S. adversaries would have the capability to be behind the occurrences. "If we go with the theory that it's foreign, China, Russia , Iran, they all have systems that can travel over large amounts of terrain, over oceans and and carry other drones with it. So that's not the difficult thing that's happening every single day right now in countries like Ukraine." Pettyjohn assumed that the drones would need to be operated by someone within the U.S. "I would assume that it's someone who's here locally, which may be a spy, which may be a nefarious actor, but that they're they're individuals on the ground, and it's just easier to blend in and difficult to identify who they are and where they are with these rather innocuous systems," she said. "They can be in the air probably on the order of, like, five hours or so, or less, and a lot of them, it's way less than that. And that just means that they have to be someone probably physically here, [who] is flying them." China expert Gordon Chang mused that the drones could be an adversary merely looking to offer a form of distraction. CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP If it were intended as an attack, "you wouldn't put on this big display over the course of days . . . with these very large objects and flashing lights. You're not going to advertise a drone attack on the U.S.," Chang said. "I think that they're trying to attract our attention, distract us from something that's happening elsewhere," he said. "So, I worry about what is going on that we're not paying attention to because of the drones."

We’ll see if we can go out there and give them a good shot.” When: 5:20 p.m. Sunday Where: SoFi Stadium TV/Radio: NBC/710 AM; 93.1 FM; 1330 AM (Spanish); Sirius 225, 226New Delhi, Nov 23 (IANS): After a video of former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu surfaced in which he described his wife's treatment for her breast cancer as "starving the cancer by not eating dairy products and sugar", Tata Memorial Hospital doctors on Saturday warned that diet alone is no cure for the disease, which requires a range of medical interventions. Oncologists at Tata Memorial Trust, in a post shared on X, said: "Diet alone is not a cure for cancer. While it plays a crucial role in supporting treatment and improving outcomes, cancer cure typically requires medical interventions like surgery, chemotherapy, and targeted therapies. Nutraceuticals and dietary changes can enhance the effectiveness of these treatments by targeting cancer pathways and improving the patient’s overall health. However, claims of curing cancer through diet alone lack scientific validation. Treatment plans should integrate diet as a complementary approach rather than a standalone solution, tailored to the individual’s cancer type and overall condition." Sidhu in a video, widely circulated on social media, had said that his wife starved the cancer by not eating dairy products and sugar and consumed haldi (turmeric) and neem which helped cure her "incurable" cancer. He said she ate her first meal of the day at 10 a.m. and the last meal of the day at 6.30 p.m. To this, the Tata Memorial doctors said: "These statements have no high-quality evidence to support them. While research is ongoing for some of these products, there is no clinical data currently to recommend their use as anti-cancer agents. We urge the public to not delay their treatment by following unproven remedies, but rather to consult a doctor, preferably a cancer specialist, if they have any symptoms of cancer. Cancer is curable if detected early and proven cancer treatments include surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy." At least 262 oncologists (present and past, from Tata Memorial Hospital) signed the statement. “Make this go viral. We have to keep fighting misinformation,” the Tata Memorial said.
